There are a number of zoo themed comix on the adult market, most belong to the Palliard Press or the Eros stables. Tank Girl is from neither of these publishers, having had a number of different publishers in the US and UK. Tank Girl is most definitely not hardcore material, but it's in-yer-face irreverent style epitomises the attitude of the very best in adult comix, which is why her 'n' her boyfriend Booga the kangaroo are takin' you on this tour. There are rare examples of interspecies adult fun from other publishers apart from Palliard and Eros, but these are few and far between. Tank Girl is not as far as I know at the moment being published anywhere, but you never know when it will reappear in some form or another. If like this webmaster you are into Tank Girl in particular you'll find there are lots of Tank Girl sites on the web, so just use a search engine. The back numbers of the various TG comix, film (! yeah there's a brilliantly funny film) etc. can easily be bought from specialist adult comix collectables outlets in the UK and USA.

As for the other comix shown here, well I don't know about Palliard press, that might not be going anymore, but you might get backs from very specialist shops and collector's fayres. Eros are still very much active as a publisher and you can find them in search engines. Hardline adult comix from them are available to buy off the web fairly easily. In the UK you might just also get them at comix fayres or, rarely, at 'Forbidden Planet' bookshop in the London or Brighton branches, other branches are less likely to stock this material. Another place to look for this sort of material is as scanned JPG's and GIF's in specialist adult cartoon, comix, and anime usenet newsgroups.
